Chirps from Center Ice

A fan blog about the AHL's Wilkes-Barre / Scranton Penguins

The most wonderful time of the year…

We are inside of three hours for me picking up my 2010-2011 Wilkes-Barre / Scranton Penguins Season Tickets. Times such as these are exciting because you don’t know what to expect as far as what the tickets themselves look like.

I will be down at the Ice Rink at Coal Street this afternoon from around 12:45 to about 2:30ish to watch the first practice of the year. If you are a Chirps from Center ice frequenter, come and say hello when you see me. I’m not hard to miss, I will be the tallest person there not on skates.

I’ll also be live-tweeting what I see practice wise and may even throw a picture up on Twitpic from time to time.

I fully expect today to be the day we (the season ticket holders) all find out what the details are for the December 30 game versus Hershey at Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh. Perhaps they are already included?

Full report back here later on musings from me on this day, practice and what I think about the tickets.

Let’s Go Pens!
