For Springy: Last night at home vs. the Portland Pirates, the Falcons won 4-1. Blue Jackets prospect Nikita Filatov had a goal and an assist and was named the games first star.

Last Meeting: Back on November 28 in Springfield, the Pens won 4-2. Late game heroics by Nick Johnson, Dustin Jeffrey and Bryan Lerg in the form of goals secured the victory for the Pens.

Why you should care: Coming off of a huge comeback win last night, the Pens are just looking to finish off another weekend in the AHL with a sweep and continue their winning ways. Springfield is on the rise in the Atlantic, they have to win this game to stay ahead of fourth place in the division, because it looks like a team from the East is crossing over this Spring.
