Last Game: For WBS: Last night vs. Worcester, the Pens won 5-3. Tim Wallace had two goals in the game, including the game winner. For CHA: Last night in Syracuse the Checkers lost to the Crunch 6-2. Nick Dodge and Bryan Rodney had the goals for the Checkers in the defeat.

Last Meeting: January 26 in Wilkes-Barre, the Pens won 6-4. Dutin Jeffrey, Tim Wallace and Ryan Craig had two goals a piece in teh win.

Why you should care: This very well may be a first round playoff matchup preview. The Checkers have been and shall remain a very dangerous team. We have been monitoring the Checkers’ parent team, the Carolina Hurricans to see if they make the playoffs because the thought is that if the Hurricans miss the playoffs, you are not going to want to face the Checkers come playoff time.
