Record: For WBS: 0-1-0-1 (1 pt., 3rd place East Division) — For RCH: 0-1-0-0 (0 pts., 4th place North Division)
Why you should care: This is Rochester’s home opener under the old, new affiliation with the Buffalo Sabres. The Amerks said when the affiliation change happened that they wanted to win another Calder Cup. Both teams are searching for their first win. The Pens will need to play a smart game in order to be the ones who skate away with the victory.
