Eastern Conference Quarterfinal Game 3: Hershey Bears (WBS leads 2-0)

Eastern Conference Quarterfinal – Game 3

AHL Game: D3

Who: Hershey Bears

Where: Giant Center

When: 7:00 p.m.

Series: Penguins lead 2-0 (best of five)

Media Kit

Last Game: Saturday in Wilkes-Barre, the Pens won 7-2. Colin McDonald continued his torrent pace, scoring two goals and assisting on another while registering a +3. Patrick McNeill and Garrett Mitchell scored goals for the Bears.

What to Watch For: The Penguins are looking to duplicate the last two performances against the slumping Bears, who will be without top defenseman Patrick Wellar, who was suspended by the AHL Monday for his two-handed whacks at Paul Thompson when the game was well out of reach for the Bears Saturday night. The Pens can put an end to the series tonight and not have to worry about the Bears or who the Caps could send here Friday if they lose tonight to the Bruins in Game 7 with another solid effort.
