Quick blurb on this because the weather is nice and my pool is calling.
Pittsburgh announced this morning that they have re-signed Brad Thiessen to a one-year contract.
With Tomas Vokoun already inked as backup to Marc-André Fleury for next season, it looks like Thiessen will be sticking around for another year in Wilkes-Barre.
Chatter on Twitter whether Thiessen would get claimed off waiver wire in the Fall. I don’t think so. If another NHL team wanted him they would have got him today, tomorrow or yesterday.
