The first weekend is in the books for the 2014-15 American Hockey League.
For some, the season has started out great.
For some, they left a little on the table.
For others, they are looking for the reset button.
If you are new to the blog and new to these rankings, this is just one man’s opinions on where these teams should be ranked, if AHL Power Rankings were a thing. These Rankings were a highly talked about item here on the blog last year, so if you think I am wrong with the rankings, leave me a comment.
A new season, a new look! I changed up the formatting for something I believe will be easier for me to build on Sundays and easier for you to read. A test audience in the summertime loved the new look, so jump through to get started…..

Please do two things. Tell me what you think of the new format in the comments and let me know how wrong I am about your team.
Too early to really be bothered by rankings…figure a month or so of games and we’ll all have a better idea.
I love the new banners in place of the smaller logos of last year. Not sure how you’d do it, but maybe make the current ranking number bigger? or bold? I think it needs to stand out a little more.
Love the new format – still 🙂
As for the rankings….. I can’t argue a whole lot. One game doth not a season make. I’m happy we got the point out of it, and I’ll see how things go starting this coming weekend… when I can put eyeballs on the team in person for the first time.
Like the upcoming games feature. Is this the lowest wbs has ever appeared on the rankings? They deserved it.
Like the new format. Congrats on your blog “championship.”
