Casey DeSmith stopped 26 shots and Jake Guentzel scored the go ahead goal in the third period to get the Pens the win… For Providence, the Bruins beat Springfield at home 3-1 on Wednesday. Jeremy Smith stopped 27 shots and co-Rooike of the Year Frank Vatrano had a goal, giving him 34 goals on the year in just 34 games played.
