Last Game / Last Meeting: Last night in Bridgeport, the Pens lost 3-2 in overtime. Eamon McAdam stopped 33 of 35 and stifled the Penguins at times. Josh Archibald tied the game late in the third, but it was Connor Jones’ overtime goal that won it for the Sound Tigers.

Record: For WBS: 12-4-2-0 (26 pts., 2nd place Atlantic Division)  — For BRI: 12-5-0-0 (24 pts., 3rd place Atlantic Division)

Why you should care: Pens will need to score the first goal tonight in the rematch if they want to have success tonight. They chased Bridgeport all night last night when the Sound Tigers struck just a minute into the game.

Last Game: Wednesday in Hershey, the Pens were shutout 4-0. For Bridgeport, the Souped Tigers were in Hartford and  won 4-2. Steve Bernier had a pair of goals.

Last Meeting: November 18 in Wilkes-Barre, the Pens won 4-3. Carter Rowney had a goal and an assist good for first star honors. Jon Landry had two assists in the losing effort for his team.

Record: For WBS: 12-4-1-0 (25 pts., 1st place Atlantic Division)  — For BRI: 11-5-0-0 (22 pts., 3rd place Atlantic Division)

Why you should care: Bridgeport remains a very strong, very dangerous team. The Penguins are in for a good fight these next two games against Bridgeport. Expect Casey DeSmith to start this one and for the Penguins  to come out better than they did Wednesday in Hershey.

Last Game / Last Meeting: Saturday in Hershey, the Penguins were down two goals in the third period when they stormed back to take the game in overtime 4-3. Tom Kostopoulos’ goal with 67 seconds left tied it, and Carter Rowney’s hand / eye coordination with a defender draped on him ended it for the Penguins in the comeback win.

Record: For WBS: 12-3-1-0 (25 pts., 1st place Atlantic Division) — For HER: 8-4-3-1 (20 pts., 4th place Atlantic Division)

Why you should care: Bears cannot be happy with the way Saturday went. Expect a relentless attack from Hershey tonight. Pens can’t be thinking about the turkey dinner yet or they’ll get embarrassed tonight.

Last Game: Last night at home vs. Bridgeport, the Pens won in gritty fashion by a score of 4-3. Carter Rowney had a goal and an assist and was named first star of the game.  For Hershey, the Bears hosted Syracuse and won 5-1. Vitek Vanacek stopped 23 of 24 shots. Chris Bourque scored two goals and added an assist.

Last Meeting: October 23 in Hershye is twas Dominik Simon’s penalty shot goal in overtime that won it for the Penguins. Tristan Jarry stopped 30 of 31 shots for the Pens and was named first star of the game.

Record: For WBS: 11-3-1-0 (23 pts., 1st place Atlantic Division) — For HER: 8-4-2-1 (19 pts., 3rd place Atlantic Division)

Why you should care: Bears will be looking to avenge the loss back on October 23. Due to injuries to players at parent Washington coupled with injuries to the Bears, the defending Eastern Conference champs may be a bit understaffed tonight but that won’t matter as the Pens will still need to bring their best in this rivalry.

Last Game: Wednesday in Allentown, the Penguins lost 4-1 to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. It was at the seventh straight win for the Phantoms. Thomas DiPauli scored the only gaol for the Penguins. It was his first goal as a professional. For Bridgeport, the Sound Tigers beat Hershey in a shootout 4-3 last Saturday. Andrew Rowe scored the only goal of the shootout to give Bridgeport the win.

Last Meeting: November 5 in Bridgeport, the Pens won 7-1. Jake Guentzel was named first star of the game with two goals and two assists.

Record: For WBS: 10-3-1-0 (21 pts., 1st place Atlantic Division)  — For BRI: 8-4-0-0 (16 pts., 3rd place Atlantic Division)

Why you should care: Bridgeport is dangerously underrated. Penguins crushed the Sound Tigers the last time the two teams met but expect a different outcome tonight in that this game should be a lot tighter than the first.

Why you should care: The Penguins are the best team in the AHL and the Phantoms have won six straight. Something has to give here as these two teams battle for Atlantic Division supremacy.

Last Game: Saturday at home against Providence, the Pens won 3-1. J-S Dea, Oskar Sundqvist and Jake Guentzel all scored and Casey DeSmith stopped 28 of 29 shots. For Hartford, the Wolf Pack were in Utica last night and lost in overtime to the Comets 3-2. Mat Bodie and Tanner Glass collected goals for Hartford in the loss.

Last Meeting: It was opening night in Wilkes-Barre back on October 15 and the Penguins won 6-2. Six different Penguins recorded a goal including Jake Guentzel, who also had three assists to go along with his gaol, good for first star of the game.

Record: For WBS: 9-2-1-0 (19 pts., 1st place Atlantic Division)  — For HFD: 3-7-2-0 (8 pts., 7th place Atlantic Division)

Why you should care: Penguins cannot take the Wolf Pack lightly this afternoon. Good teams beat all teams, not just some teams. Are the Penguins a good team or a really good team I think we all know the answer to this question, but the true answer may not come until the end of this game tonight,.
