Last Game: Tuesday night at home the Penguins lost 5-1 to the Binghamton Senators. Dominik Uher scored his first professional goal and the only goal for the Penguins that evening. For Norfolk, Sunday they were in Hershey, coughed up a 3-0 third period lead, but still managed to win in a shootout 4-3. Record: For WBS: 25-20-2-1 (53 pts., 3rd place East Division) For NOR: 24-20-2-1 (43 pts., 5th place East Division)

Why you should care: Penguins get back on the ice looking to wash the stink that was Tuesday’s setback off of them against a Norfolk team they have had moderate success against (2-1-1-0 this season) and start the first of three this weekend. A strong start is a must.

Why you should care: B-Sens seem to be floundering, Penguins seem to be gaining momentum. This should be a big early litmus test to see where the Penguins stack up amongst the AHL’s elite.

Last Game / Last Meeting: Last night in Norfolk, the Pens lost 4-1. Warren Peters scored a second period goal and Admirals netminder Jeff Deslauriers stopped 31 of 32 shots.

Record: For WBS: 24-19-2-1 (51 pts., 3rd place East Division) For NOR: 19-23-2-1 (41 pts., 5th place East Division)

Why you should care: The Penguins let guys score goals last night who frankly don’t score goals. The “hey we won nine of ten games” mentality is last years news and the Penguins need a much better effort all around if they want to beat this pesky Admirals team

Last Game: Yesterday vs. Manchester, the Penguins won 4-2. They scored two shorthanded goals, doubling the shorthanded goal total for the season. For Adirondack, they won at home vs. the Norfolk Admirals 5-2. Rob Bordson had two goals and Harry Zolnierczyk had three assists.
