The AHL just announced that Wilkes-Barre / Scranton Penguins forward Jesse Boulerice and defenseman Robert Bortuzzo have been suspended a game each for their actions on Saturday night vs. the Norfolk Admirals. They both will miss tonight’s home game vs. the Abbotsford Heat.

For Norfolk, only forward Stefano Giliati was suspended a game. He will miss the Admirals next game which is Friday home vs. the Albany Devils.

Both Wilkes-Barre / Scranton and Norfolk were also fined an undisclosed amount by the League.

I guess the Pens had to know this was coming, thus the call-ups of forward Ben Street and defenseman Jason DeSantis.
