Record: For WBS, 25-7-0-0 (50 pts., 1st place East Division) — For HER, 19-12-0-1 (39 pts., 4th place East Division)
Last Meeting: November 20 in Hershey, the Pens won 4-3. Brett Sterling and Dustin Jeffrey both had a goal and an assist each.
Why you should care: Biggest game of the year so far for both teams being showcased on NHL ice in Pittsburgh, PA as a prelude to the Winter Classic on New Years Day. The hatred the parent teams have for one another is evenly matched at the AHL level. No bigger rivalry exists in the American Hockey League then does Wilkes-Barre / Scranton and Hershey. Game is going to be played in front of probably 12,000+, if not more with lots of NHL eyes looking on.

Radio: For WBS: 102.3 The Mountain. For Hershey: Bears Radio Network
Television: AHL Live (I am not 100 % sure about this since the game is not being played in an AHL building)
Promotion(s): One ticket gets you two hockey games as there is a college hockey game being played between RMU and RIT prior to WBS / HER.
Next Five Games: NOR 1/1, @ CHA 1/4, @ CHA 1/5, BRI 1/7, PRO 1/8
