Announced today that WBS’ very own Brad Thiessen was named AHL Player of the Week.

Thiessen’s stats since his return from injury have been ridiculous: 4-1-0, 0.60 GAA and a .971 SV%.

One thing which struck me late last night / early this morning about this weekend and more importantly last night was the fact that we hung seven goals on the league’s second best team with players who aren’t even our team. They are our future team. Get your popcorn ready.

Will be watching scores from Charlotte vs. Albany and Norfolk vs. Hershey tomorrow. Will probably update something here tomorrow night.
