RAPID RECAP – Pens WIN 5-4

Much better effort here tonight in Wilkes-Barre, a 5-4 Wilkes-Barre win.

After going down 4-2 in the third, the Penguins could have packed it in and went home losers heading into the playoffs.

Adam Krause said no. He scored a breakaway goal, then a shorthanded goal to win it for the  Penguins. A great comeback win for the Penguins here in the final game of the regular season.

The Providence Bruins lost 3-0 to the Hershey Bears meaning that the Penguins and Bruins meet again in the playoffs. The series starts in Providence probably due to the circus. Pens first home game will be Thursday, April 27.

More later. Schedule will probably be finalized by the League later tonight. Pens need a San Jose loss of any kind to win the Kilpatrick Trophy for regular season champions.
