Successful use of a game in hand for the Penguins Sunday afternoon, defeating the Springfield Thunderbirds 3-2. Now five points off of idle Providence for the four seed and a huge game Wednesday now looming for both teams.

Joseph Cramarossa, Anthony Angello and Sam Miletic scored for the Penguins.
