A fan blog about the AHL's Wilkes-Barre / Scranton Penguins

GAMEDAY: vs. San Antonio 10/26

Who: San Antonio Rampage

Where: Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza

When: 7:05 p.m.

Last Game / Last Meeting: Last night at home, the Pens lost to San Antonio 5-3. The Rampage scored three power play goals. Nathan Walker had a pair of goals and an assist. Macoy Erkamps had two assists for Wilkes-Barre in the losing effort.

Record: For WBS: 3-4-1-0 (7 pts., 7th place Atlantic Division) // For SA: 4-1-1-1 (10 pts., 2nd place Central Division)

Referees: Rob Hennessy / Mathieu Menniti

Linesmen: Julien Fournier / Patrick Dapuzzo

Why You Should Care: Stay out of the box. The Penguins can’t afford to let San Antonio strike them for three power play goals like they did Friday night. Otherwise at even strength, the Penguins were the better team. Special teams has to be the focus of improvement tonight.
