For Charlotte, the Checkers were in Providence Sunday and won 4-1. Jacob Pritchard scored a pair of goals, Anton Forsberg stooped 26 of 27 and the Checkers have won five straight.

Last Meeting: November 23 in Wilkes-Barre, the  Penguins lost 1-0. Chase Priskie’s third period power play goal stood up as the game winner for Charlotte, Alex Nedeljkovic had  22 saves for the shutout win.
