Last Game: Saturday in Albany, the Pens were shut out 3-0. In Binghamton, the Pirates lost 6-2. Patrick O’Sullivan had a goal in the loss.

Last Meeting: February 11 in Wilkes-Barre, the Pens came back in the third period to force and win in OT. Alex Picard, returning from injury, netted the game winner 36 seconds into overtime.

Record: For WBS: 30-16-2-5 (67 pts., 2nd place East Division) — For POR: 24-22-3-3 (54 pts., 5th place Atlantic Division)

Why you should care: Penguins offense is sputtering, being shut out in two of their last three games. The race for the East Division is as tight as it gets. The Pens can tie the Admirals in points with a solid effort in Maine this afternoon.

Last Game: Last night in Binghamton the Pens offense erupted for 6 goals and won 6-1. Nick Petersen had a goal and two assists and also a +3. For Albany, this past Wednesday they lost at home 7-1 to the Syracuse Crunch. Darcy Zajac had the only goal for the Devils in the loss.

Last Meeting: February 4 in Wilkes-Barre the Pens won 5-2. Bryan Lerg had two goals and was named third star of the game.

Why you should care: Penguins are looking to keep the momentum going from last nights win in the Southern Tier of New York by duplicating the end result in the Capital District of the Empire State. Albany is the rested team here having not played last night and will be looking to get the advantage early and hold on.

Last Game: Wednesday vs. Norfolk, the Pens were shutout 4-0. Scott Munroe was in net for the Pens and took the loss. For Binghamton, Sunday in St. John’s the B-Sens lost 6-3. Defenseman Josh Godfrey had a goal and an assist for Binghamton in the loss.

Last Meeting: January 28 in Binghamton, the Pens lost 7-4. Eric Tangradi and Ben Street both had a goal and an assist in the loss.

Record: For WBS: 29-15-2-5 (65 pts., 1st place East Division) — For BNG: 20-27-2-1 (43 pts., 5th place East Division)

Why you should care: The Pens are coming off of two losses from their two biggest opponents and head to a place they lost last time, giving up seven goals in the process. With Hershey and Norfolk breathing down the necks of the Pens they will need to win this game in order to keep pace. The B-Sens of recent have been a pain to deal with, so this is a highly important game.

Why you should care: The ever dangerous Norfolk Admirals skate into town looking to skate away in first place. Penguins will need to play a disciplined 60 minutes of hockey if they want to be successful in staying in first place this evening.

Last Game: Yesterday at home vs. Portland, the Penguins won in overtime 3-2. Alex Picard had the game winner :36 in. For Hershey, they led 2-1 with less than two minutes remaining and ended up losing in a shootout 3-2. Goaltender Dany Sabourin made 29 saves on 31 shots and was the second star of the game.

Record: For WBS: 29-13-2-5 (65 pts., 1st place East Division) For HER: 27-14-4-4 (62 pts., 2nd place East Division)

Why you should care: While first place in the division will not be on the line tonight, the Penguins can open up a five point lead on the rest of the division with a win today which would be huge, heading into a Wednesday game vs. Norfolk who is hot on the heels of the Bears.
