Last Game: This past Saturday in Hershey, the Pens won 4-2. Colin McDonald had a goal and an assist and was a +4 on the night. For Binghamton, the B-Sens lost 5-2. Pat Cannone had assists on every goal.

Last Meeting: December 7 in Binghamton the Pens won 1-0. Matt Rust had the lone goal and Scott Munroe had a 25 save shutout.

Record: For WBS: 14-7-1-4 (33 pts., 1st place East Division) — For BNG: 9-16-1-1 (20 pts., 5th place East Division)

Why you should care: If the Pens aren’t careful, this could have the fixings of a letdown game. After beating Hershey Saturday with a patchwork defense, the Pens can’t rest on simply beating Hershey and forgetting about other divisional foes, no matter how downtrodden things are in Binghamton at present.

Last Game: This past Saturday in Syracuse the Pens lost 5-2. Brian Gibbons and Geoff Walker had goals in the loss. For Binghamton, this past Sunday in Hartford vs. the Whale, the  B-Sens won 4-3. Andre Petersson had two goals in the win.

Last Meeting: November 26 in Binghamton the Pens won 3-2. Philip Samuelsson had two assists and Colin McDonald had a goal and an assist.

Record: For WBS: 12-7-1-4 (29 pts., 3rd place East Division) — For BNG: 9-13-1-1 (20 pts., 5th place East Division)

Why you should care: Pens are depleted at the blue line, having brought in Dan Henningson from the ECHL’s Chicago Express. Pens are floundering too, as Norfolk and Hershey have steadied themselves and currently have the same amount of points as WBS. Tonight is going to be a tough challenge but one I feel they are up to.

Last Game: Yesterday, the Pens won 4-1. Alex Grant had two assists. For Syracuse, they lost by the same score to the Hershey Bears. Patrick Maroon had the lone goal in the loss.

Last Meeting: November 23 in Wilkes-Barre, the Pens lost a wild one 7-5. Bryan Lerg had two goals in the defeat.

Record: For WBS: 12-6-1-4 (29 pts., 1st place East Division) For SYR: 9-8-2-1 (21 pts., 4th place East Division)

Why you should care: Penguins look to keep rolling by going into Syracuse and amending the crazy loss that Syracuse laid on them in Wilkes-Barre the day before Thanksgiving. Look for a big game out of Nick Petersen, only for the fact that he loves playing in this building and has had great success.

Why you should care: Penguins look to shake the funk they are currently undergoing at home versus the Pirates. They are without Robert Bortuzzo and Simon Despres who are on recall to Pittsburgh. Tonight’s game is not going to be easy against a very good Pirates team. Do the Pens have it in them?
