Last Game: Last Saturday at home against Hershey, the Penguins won 3-2 to make it ten consecutive wins at home to begin the season and remain the only undefeated home team in the AHL. Tristan Jarry stopped 25 of 27 shots in net. For Lehigh Valley, they were in Utica on Wednesday and won 3-1. Anthony Stolarz stopped 27 of 28 Comets shots and was named first star of the game.

Last Meeting: It was the Penguins home opener on October 17 and a game they won 6-4. The Penguins scored five unanswered goals after going down 3-0. Tom Kostopoulos had two goals, an assist and was named first star of the game.

Record: For WBS: 16-2-0-0 (32 pts., 1st place Atlantic Division) — For LV: 10-11-1-0 (21 pts., 5th place Atlantic Division)

Why you should care: The Penguins can’t take the Phantoms lightly as Lehigh Valley is a hot and cold team. The Penguins could potentially get back Bryan Rust and Tom Kuhnhackl from injury while the Phantoms are missing key personnel but the Penguins are going to need a full 60 minute effort in order to make it a dozen wins in a row on home ice.

Last Game: Yesterday at home the Penguins shutout the Providence Bruins 3-0. Matt Murray picked up the shutout with 29 saves…for Hershey, they lost last night in Allentown 6-5 in a shootout. Nathan Walker had a goal and an assist for the Bears and was named second star.

Last Meeting: November 13 in Wilkes-Barre, the Penguins won 7-0. Matt Murray had a 24 save shutout in that game, Conor Sheary had a goal and three assists.

Record: For WBS: 15-2-0-0 (30 pts., 1st place Atlantic Division) — For HER: 10-5-0-4 (24 pts., 3rd place Atlantic Division)

Why you should care: Big test for the Bears tonight, who have points in five straight games after coming off the 7-0 loss to the Penguins and a 5-0 loss to Bridgeport the very next night. For the Penguins, it’s all about defending home ice and pushing the win streak at home to 10 games against arguably your biggest rival.

Last Game: Wednesday in Binghamton the Penguins won 4-3 in overtime with Derrick Pouliot scoring the game winning goal. For Providence, they were in Hershey and lost in overtime 2-1. Noel Acciari scored the only goal for the Bruins.

Last Meeting: October 9 in Providence, the Penguins won 2-1 in overtime. It was Scott Wilson scoring in overtime and Matt Murray turning aside 40 of 41 shots.

Record: For WBS 14-2-0-0 (28 pts. 1st place Atlantic Division) — For PRO: 4-9-4-1 (13 pts., 8th place Atlantic Division)

Why you should care: The Penguins return from the road where they are perfect at home. They need to take the Bruins seriously even through they are a last place team.

Last Game: Saturday in Albany, the Pens won 5-3. Scott Wilson scored the go ahead goal at 14:52 of the third to go with a power play goal he scored in the second. For Binghamton, they were in Toronto Sunday and lost 6-4 to the Marlies. Cole Schneider had two assists and was named third star of the game.

Last Meeting: This past Friday, November 20, the Penguins 11 game winning streak was halted by the Senators as Binghamton won that contest 3-1. Dominik Simon scored the only goal for the Pens in the loss.

Record: For WBS: 13-2-0-0 (26 pts., 1st place Atlantic Division) — For BNG: 5-10-1-0 (11 pts., 7th place North Division)

Why you should care: The Penguins are out for revenge against a Binghamton team that stopped the franchise record setting win streak last Friday. Look for a lot corrections to the mistakes made last Friday and for the Penguins to play a much more sound fundamental hockey game.

Last Game: Last night in Binghamton, the Penguins 11 game winning streak was snapped as the Binghamton Senators were victorious by a score of 3-1. Dominik Simon scored the only got for the Penguins in the loss…For Albany, the Devils hosted the Springfield Falcons and won 4-0. Yann Danis picked up the win for Albany with a  30 save shutout.

Record: For WBS: 12-2-0-0 (24 pts., 1st place Atlantic Division) — For ALB: 9-3-3-0 (21 pts., 2nd place North Division)

Why you should care: The Penguins are going to be losing to get back into the win column against a stingy Albany team that can slow you down and wear you down. If last night was frustrating for Penguins fans with the loss to Binghamton, this game against the Devils may be that tenfold if the Penguins don’t come out and take control of the game early.

Last Game: Sunday in Hartford, the Penguins scored five goals in the second period and stormed back from a 5-1 deficit and beat the Hartford Wolf Pack 7-6 in overtime. Scott WIlson scored the game winning goal. For Binghamton, they hosted the Springfield Falcons and lost 4-3. The Falcons scored three straight power play goals in the third period.

Last Meeting: October 28 in Wilkes-Barre, the Penguins won 4-3. The B-Sens scored two power play goals, but J-S Dea scored the go ahead goal.

Record: For WBS: 12-1-0-0 (24 pts., 1st place Atlantic Division) — For BNG: 4-9-1-0 (9 pts., 7th place North Division)

Why you should care: The Penguins can make it a dozen wins in a row with a solid performance against a struggling Binghamton team. It’s a trap game for the Penguins. The Senators have struggled recently but they always match up against the Penguins well.

Last Game: Last night at home against the Rochester Americans, the Penguins won 3-1. The win broke a record for wins by the Penguins in any one season. Dave Warsofsky scored a power play goal and Tristan stopped 15 of 16 shots. For Hartford, they were in Portland Friday and lost 3-2. Mackenzie Skapski picked up third star honors after stopping 25 of 28 shots.

Last Meeting: October 30 in Wilkes-Barre, the Penguins won 4-1. Scott Wilson scored two goals and Matt Murray stopped 29 of 30 shots.

Record: For WBS: 11-1-0-0 (22 pts., 1st place Atlantic Division) — For HFD: 6-8-1-0 (13 pts., 6th place Atlantic Division)

Why you should care: The Wolf Pack have gone cold since that October 30 meeting in Wilkes-Barre, only winning once more the next night in overtime against Providence. Since, they have dropped six straight decisions. The Penguins though are coming in to face a team that didn’t play Saturday, so they need to be on their best if they want to extend the win streak to eleven games.
