Last Game: Saturday in Allentown, the Penguins lost 3-1 to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. Andrew Ebbett scored the only goal for the Pens in the loss. For Hartford, they were in Springfield Saturday and won 3-2 in overtime. Mat Bodie had three assists, Danny Kristo scored two goals and Mackenzie Skapski stopped 27 of 29 shots.

Last Meeting: March 15 in Wilkes-Barre, the Penguins lost 5-2. Josh Archibald and Jayson Megna scored goals in the loss.

Record: For WBS: 38-22-3-4 (83 pts., 2nd place East Division) — For HFD: 36-22-5-4 (81 pts., 2nd place Northeast Division)

Why you should care: These two teams have identical last 10 game records at 6-3-0-1. It is no surprise that they are 4 and 5 in the Conference right now looking to improve their seeding. Both teams are going to want the two points tonight.

Lats Game: Last night in Binghamton, the Penguins won 3-1. Jayson Megna’s shorthanded goal in the first period held up as the game winner. For Lehigh Valley, the Phantoms lost Wednesday to the Syracuse Crunch by a score of 6-1. Blair Jones scored the only goal for the Phantoms in the loss.

Last Meeting: This past Sunday in Allentown, the Penguins won 3-0. Matt Murray had his AHL leading 10th shutout of the season, making 32 saves.

Record: For WBS: 38-21-3-4 (83 pts., 2nd place East Division) — For LV: 29-28-6-1 (65 pts., 3rd place East Division)

Why you should care: Penguins head to Allentown yet again for a matchup against a rested Phantoms team which did not play Friday. At this point for Lehigh Valley, you are playing for pride. The Phantoms will gleefully try and halt the short momentum the Penguins have gathered in these past two games since the two teams met Sunday.

Other Game to Watch: Last Stand for the East Division Weekend continues. Hershey hosting Manchester is really the only games that matters to Penguins fans. So far, so good, with the Penguins winning last night and the Monarchs taking the first game in regulation against the Bears. Pens need to win first tonight and hope the Monarchs to the same, preferably in regulation.

Last Game: Sunday in Lehigh Valley, the Penguins won 3-0. It was Matt Murray’s records breaking tenth shutout with 32 saves. Tom Kostopoulos, Bobby Farnham and Scott Harrington also scored for the Penguins in the win. For Binghamton, the Senators were in Bridgeport Sunday and lost 7-1 to the Sound Tigers. Buddy Robinson scored the only goal in the blowout loss.

Last Meeting: Last Saturday in Wilkes-Barre, the Penguins lost 4-3. Taylor Chorney assisted on all three Penguins goals.

Record: For WBS: 37-21-3-4 (81 pts., 2nd place East Division) — For BNG: 28-29-7-1 (64 pts., 4th place East Division)

Why you should care: Penguins take on the B-Sens for the final time in Binghamton tonight. The B-Sens have given the Penguins fits of recent with their play. Wilkes-Barre will need to contain the B-Sens tonight and make them play more their style if they want to come back home with two points.

Other Game to Watch: If the Penguins have any realistic hopes of winning the East Division, they need Manchester to beat Hershey in Hershey in both games this weekend, preferably in regulation. The Monarchs have been the best team in the AHL all season long while the Bears have been one of the best teams in the AHL in 2015.

Lats Game: Last night at home vs. Binghamton, the Pens lost 4-3. Taylor Chorney had three assists, a career high for the Penguins defenseman. For Lehigh Valley, they were in Worcester last night and lost 6-1. Brandon Manning had the only goal for the Phantoms in the loss.

Last Meeting: February 14 in Wilkes-Barre, the Penguins lost 5-4 in a shootout. Brian Dumoulin had two assists and was named second star of the game.

Record: For WBS: 36-21-3-4 (79 pts., 2nd place East Division) — For LV: 29-26-6-1 (65 pts., 3rd place East Division)

Why you should care: Penguins are cold right now. They look to get hot again against a struggling Phantoms team that matches up really well against them. Wilkes-Barre almost needs to win this game in hand that they have on the Bears if they have any hopes of catching the Bears for the division lead.

Last Game: Last night in Syracuse, the Pens lost 2-1 in overtime. Tom Kostopoulos had the only goal for the Penguins in the loss. For Binghamton, the B-Sens hosted Norfolk last night and won 4-3. Shane Prince scored two goals for the home team in the win.

Last Meeting: February 11 in Wilkes-Barre, the Penguins won 4-1. Dominik Uher had a big night, with two goals, an assist and a +3 in the win.

Record: For WBS: 36-20-3-4 (79 pts., 2nd place East Division) — For BNG: 27-28-7-1 (62 pts., 5th place East Division)

Why you should care: Penguins seem like they have some kind of nasty funk around them, having lost two games now to teams in Hartford and Syracuse that they should have won if they put the same effort together against Hershey. Binghamton isn’t going to make playoffs this year and the Penguins are in the thick of it with Hershey for the divisional race, so the B-Sens could be the cure that ail Wilkes-Barre.

Last Game: Sunday at home against Hartford, the Penguins lost 5-2. Josh Archibald and Jayson Megna scored goals in the loss. For Syracuse, the Crunch were in Bridgeport on Sunday and won 2-0. Kristers Gudlevskis had a 29 save shutout.

Last Meeting: January 10 in Syracuse, the Penguins lost 4-3. Jayson Megna had two goals in the losing effort.

Record: For WBS: 36-20-2-4 (78 pts., 2nd place East Division) — For SYR: 36-17-8-0 (80 pts., 1st place Northeast Division)

Why you should care: Important games for both teams tonight. Penguins want to shake off the bad performance Sunday against Hartford. Syracuse wants to stay ahead of the charging Wolf Pack and has its own push for the playoffs as well. Expect an even, competitive matchup.

Last Game: Last night vs. Hershey, the Penguins won 3-1. Jayson Megna had a goal and an assist for first star honors. For Hartford, they were in Binghamton last night and won 4-3. Ryan Haggerty had two goals and was a +1 for first star honors also.

Why you should care: Penguins can close to within a point of the idle Hershey Bears on the race for the East Division with a win today. Hartford has won two in a row and are battling for the playoffs. Should be a good one this afternoon.
