RAPID RECAP – Pens LOSE 3-0

31 shots wasn’t enough to beat Pheonix Copley, who shuts down the Penguins attack tonight. Hershey wins 3-0.

Full piece in a bit.

RAPID RECAP – Pens LOSE 3-2 (SO)

A Bridgeport team that hung around like a bad headache, force overtime and win in a shootout that took seven rounds.

A bad loss with how close things are. Hell with regulation and overtime wins carrying more weight than shootout wins their fate may have been sealed when they didn’t win in overtime.

Emil Larmi took the loss in overtime. Read on him was make a move then another move, deke and score in the shootout rounds.

More in a bit.

RAPID RECAP – Pens WIN 3-0

First win for Casey DeSmith since November, his third shutout of the season, Penguins first win in 2020, and the Wilkes-Barre / Scranton apwnguins take down the Atlantic Divisions top team in the Hartford Wolf Pack.

Lots in a bit.

RAPID RECAP – Pens LOSE 2-1 (SO)

Back and forth, even affair that Hershey wins in the bottom of the sixth with Shane Gersich scoring the only goal of the shootout.

They deserved better, but it’s the fifth loss in a row and if they played like they did tonight, the wins will come around.

More in a bit.

RAPID RECAP – Pens WIN 4-2

Anthony Angello scored three goals, Jake Lucchini scored shorthanded and the Wilkes-Barre / Scranton Penguins break out of their slump a bit and beat the listless Lehigh Valley Phantoms 4-2.

Dustin Tokarski relieved Casey DeSmith at the start of the third and will get credit for the win. More in what happened to DeSmith presumably in the full piece in a bit.

RAPID RECAP – Pens WIN 1-0

23 saves for Dustin Tokarski, a goal by Anthony Angello and the Wilkes-Barre / Scranton Penguins win 1-0.

This is with all the recalls (more in a bit on that) made earlier. Stark contrast from Wednesday, too.

More in a bit.

RAPID RECAP – Pens LOSE 5-3

Wild one in Wilkes-Barre. Pens lose 5-3 to Texas in what became a contentious game late.

Pens jumped out to a 3-2 lead on back to back power play goals but it was a time out by head coach Derek Laxdal that kind of righted the ship for the Stars and settled his team down.

Emil Larmi deserved a better fate really, he took the loss in net.
