Last Meeting: February 23 in Binghamton, the Pens lost 4-1. Barry Brust made 47 saves in net for the B-Sens and was the games first star.

Why you should care: Win tonight, and the Pens eclipse their records for wins in a season. The Binghamton Senators will treat this like a playoff game. For the Pens, it’s time to dispose of these pesky Senators and hopefully help out the Atlantic Division by beating the B-Sens in regulation.

Last Game: For WBS: Last night vs. Worcester, the Pens won 5-3. Tim Wallace had two goals in the game, including the game winner. For CHA: Last night in Syracuse the Checkers lost to the Crunch 6-2. Nick Dodge and Bryan Rodney had the goals for the Checkers in the defeat.

Last Meeting: January 26 in Wilkes-Barre, the Pens won 6-4. Dutin Jeffrey, Tim Wallace and Ryan Craig had two goals a piece in teh win.

Record: For WBS, 49-18-0-1 (99 pts., 1st place East Division) For CHA, 38-24-2-6 (84 pts., 4th place East Division)

Why you should care: This very well may be a first round playoff matchup preview. The Checkers have been and shall remain a very dangerous team. We have been monitoring the Checkers’ parent team, the Carolina Hurricans to see if they make the playoffs because the thought is that if the Hurricans miss the playoffs, you are not going to want to face the Checkers come playoff time.

Last Game: For WBS: This past Wednesday in Winnipeg vs. the Moose, the Pens won 4-1. They had to comeback to do it and got goals from Bryan Lerg, Zach Sill, Corey Potter and Tim Wallace. Record: For WBS, 48-18-0-1 (97 pts., 1st place East Division) — For WOR, 31-25-4-8 (74 pts., 4th place Atlantic Division)

Why you should care: The Sharks are battling for their playoff lives right now and are looking to come to Wilkes-Barre to upset the Pens, who are coming off of their longest road trip in franchise history. With a win tonight, the Penguins clinch a playoff berth.

When: 730 p.m. CDT (that’s 8:30 p.m. Wilkes-Barre time)

Last Game / Last Meeting: Last night versus the Moose, the Pens shutout the North Division leader, 2-0. Geoff Walker and Ben Street scored the goals and John Curry earned the shutout in net for the Penguins.

Record: For WBS, 47-18-0-1 (95 pts., 1st place East Division) For MTB, 37-25-1-5 (80 pts., 1st place North Division)

Why you should care: Pens dominated the Moose last night shorthanded, much like they did Friday in Abbotsford en route to a 4-0 win, The next game was followed up by a 5-4 shootout loss in a game the Pens were never really in. Look for something like this to happen tonight as the Moose will adjust and look to take control. Expect John Curry to get the start again in net for the Pens too.

Last Game: This past Saturday in Abbotsford, the Pens suffered their first shootout loss of the year 5-4. Wilkes-Barre got two late period third period goals from Brett Sterling and Andrew Hutchinson to tie the game and earn the point. For Manitoba, this past Sunday in Houston against the Aeros, the Moose lost 6-3. Mario Bliznak had a goal and an assist.

Record: For WBS, 46-18-0-1 (93 pts., 1st place East Division) For MTB, 37-24-1-5 (80 pts., 1st place North Division)

Last Meeting: February 8 in Wilkes-Barre, the Pens won 4-1. Ryan Craig and Keven Veilleux both had a goal and assist each.

Why you should care: This is one of the four games in hand Wilkes-Barre has on Hershey this week. The Bears are five points behind us and they say games in hand don’t mean anything if you don’t win them. Manitoba is glad to be home after an eleven game road trip. This will not be a gimmie game for Wilkes-Barre as the Moose are a very tough team from the North Division.Only three points separate the Moose from the third place Hamilton Bulldogs in the North and a guaranteed spot in the playoffs as it looks like the fifth place team from the West Division is crossing over. Both teams can ill afford to lose the game tonight.

When: 7:00 p.m. PST (that’s 10 p.m. in Wilkes-Barre)

Last Game /Last Meeting: Last night against the Heat, the Pens shutout Abbotsford 4-0. All four lines had a goal scorer and Brad Thiessen earned his AHL leading 7th shutout.

Record: For WBS, 46-18-0-0 (92 pts., 1st place East Division) — For ABB, 31-26-4-5 (71 pts., 5th place North Division)

Why you should care: Wilkes Barre came out and responded to the bad loss put on them Tuesday by the Connecticut Whale and utterly dominated the Heat last night. Look for that trend to continue tonight with slight adjustments on both sides.
